My littles Thrive when given independence, but it seems there's a fine line between enough and too much!

They are learning to make their own breakfast and lunch, at least in part!
😉 They love to spread on their own toppings and I give them multiple options for most things! But when it comes to 
🔪 I'm just not quite there! .
And....since I nearly cut my fingertip off yesterday, with all the knife experience I have, I'm not ready to hand them a knife!
😬.
But, these flat little mini cake spatulas help them to learn how to handle a knife for spreading without the dangers of a blade!
😜.
